Statement of Need

Many families and individuals in Dallas face financial hardship, food insecurity, and limited access to essential resources. Children in foster care, seniors in low-income housing, and struggling families often lack consistent support systems. Without intervention, these groups remain vulnerable to cycles of poverty and social neglect.

MHOC bridges this gap by providing immediate relief (food, clothing, holiday gifts) and long-term empowerment (mentorship, workshops, community engagement). However, growing demand has outpaced our current resources.
